Kwame Sekyere

Kwame is a criminal barrister and who prosecutes and defends a wide range of offences in the Crown Court. He works across all courts in London, the South East and parts of the South West of England.

Kwame represents young people accused of serious crimes and defendants with serious psychiatric issues, including those where a hospital order is required. As a prosecutor he works with a range of Government departments including the Crown Prosecution Service, National Crime Agency and the Director for Border Revenue. He has been instructed to prosecute cases involving multi-million pound drug importation rings, sensitive domestic disputes and money laundering operations.

Prior to his work at the criminal bar, he was a Senior Associate at PUBLIC, a public-sector consultancy firm, where he worked alongside the MOJ and HMPPS to improve the use of technology to support prison leavers and those on probation.
