Dr Jennifer Hough

Jen is a senior lecturer in Criminal Justice and Policing at the University of Lancashire. Her work focuses on the Criminal Justice System in particular legal spaces, accessible and inclusive justice, vulnerable stakeholders and police training and practice. She is co-lead of the Youth Justice strand of the Criminal Justice Partnership and co-director of the Socio-Legal Studies Centre at her institution. She has led funded research projects related to courts, policing, violence reduction and sentencing. She is currently on secondment working on related research projects with a police force in England.
